ShiftMate Privacy Policy

ShiftMate (the “App”) is provided by UpgradTechnology (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use ShiftMate.


Information you enter


ShiftMate lets you enter work profile information, pay rates, shift times, unpaid breaks, overtime, bonuses, tips, and related notes. This information is stored locally on your device so the App can calculate and display your hours and estimated earnings.


No developer data collection


ShiftMate does not require an account. We do not operate a server that receives your ShiftMate data, and the App does not use advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information.


Exports and sharing


ShiftMate can create CSV timesheets and JSON backups. These files are shared only when you choose an export or backup action and select a destination through your device’s sharing interface. Any app or service you select to receive an export will handle that information under its own privacy policy.


Data storage, retention, and deletion


Your ShiftMate information remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Because we do not receive or store this information on our servers, we cannot access or delete it remotely.


Security


Your information is protected by the security controls of your device. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and for choosing secure destinations when exporting data.


Children’s privacy


ShiftMate is intended for working-age users aged 16 and older and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


Earnings estimates


ShiftMate provides earnings estimates for personal planning. Actual payroll may differ due to taxes, deductions, employer rules, local laws, and pay policies.


Changes to this policy


We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
